Lara Ordóñez
Colmena is the latest piece created by artist Lara Ordoñez for Teulat Editions. This work seeks to represent the concept of home through the creation of this shelter made from natural fibres, emphasising the connection with nature and the idea of home as an intimate space.

The piece shows a curved wire structure supporting a small nest woven with natural fibres, recalling the shape of a beehive. With a circular wooden base, it stands out for its simplicity and the use of organic materials, creating a link between the natural and the domestic environment.

About the designer
Lara Ordóñez works with textile carriers and techniques from the perspective of contemporary artistic production. In recent years she has held several artistic residencies in Spain and Europe, including at the Centre d’Art La Rectoria (Barcelona) and the Berliner Kunstinstitut (Berlin, Germany), and has participated in various exhibitions and international art fairs. He is currently working on his doctoral thesis at the Universidad Politécnica de València.
