Slot
Malva Office
Slot is part of a simple idea: the essentials are enough. Each piece in this collection seeks to reduce the object to what is necessary solely for its construction, use, and presence. An exercise of elimination to find the exact point where nothing is missing and nothing is superfluous.
More information
The object is constructed with minimal operations—cutting, folding, and sliding—without added elements and without hiding the joint, which takes on a leading role. The essence of the piece lies in how it is constructed, its beauty resides in its system: a cut that allows for support, a slot that resolves the joint, a surface that slides and is fixed by that precise gesture.
The complete collection offers a serene, contained presence, where the production process and the presence of the object coincide.
