Slot
Malva Office
Slot is part of a simple idea: the essential is enough. Each piece in this collection seeks to reduce the object to what is necessary only for its construction, use, and presence. An exercise in eliminating until finding the exact point where nothing is missing and nothing is superfluous.
More information
The object is built with minimal operations—cutting, folding, and sliding—without added elements and without hiding the joint, which takes on a leading role. The essence of the piece lies in how it is constructed, its beauty resides in its system: a cut that allows for support, a slot that resolves the joint, a surface that slides and is secured by that precise gesture.
The complete collection offers a serene, contained presence, where the production process and the presence of the object coincide.
